Iman Kamal Ahmed

Introduction

Iman Ahmed holds a BA in English Language and an MA in Applied Linguistics from Salahaddin University. In September 2018, she began her teaching career in the Foundation Program at the University, where she instructs students in English language courses at various levels. Currently, she is a teaching member of the English department.

Research

Her work centres around the role of emotions in second language acquisition, and, more specifically, she is currently working on foreign language classroom emotions. She has previously co-authored papers on exploring the level of emotions in online and in-person contexts as well as investigating flow state in language learning.
