Idris Ahmed Musa

Chair of Civil and Architectural Engineering

Overview

Idris Musa is the Chair of the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. He has obtained his PhD in Structural Engineering from Western Sydney University and his Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide – Australia. He has taught Structural Engineering in different universities including Western Sydney University and the University of New South Wales.

His research interests are in steel structures and stability of structures. He specializes in the fatigue design of welded steel tubular connections.
