Idris Musa obtained his PhD in Structural Engineering from Western Sydney University and his Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide – Australia. He has taught Structural Engineering at different universities including Western Sydney University and the University of Duhok. He has been with the department since 2020. His research interests are in steel structures and the stability of structures. He specializes in the fatigue design of welded steel tubular connections.
