Introduction
Dlawar is a faculty at Management and Economics in the School of Management and Economics at the University of Kurdistan Hewler in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He has major specialization in finance and minor specialization in statistics and economics. He joined the School of Management and Economics in September 2023 as a full-time Lecturer. Before joining UKH, Dlawar worked as a chairperson of the accounting department at Komar Univesity of Science and Technology as well as adjunct faculty at American University in Iraq-Sulaimani teaching both undergraduate and master level classes.

Research
Dlawar has published several empirical papers in prestige journals indexed in Scopus and SSCI with high impact factors. His research interests include; tourism stocks, stock prices, exchange rates, financial crises etc. In September 2023, been ranked as 1st researcher in Iraq and 3rd globally according to Scopus database among those who studied tourism stocks/finance over the past 3 years. He is reviewing articles for the top journals.
