Arwaa Wshyar Abdulkareem

Introduction

Arwaa Wshyar Abdulkareem is a Data Analyst and Research Assistant at AIIC – Kurdistan University, Hawler. She holds an MSc and a BSc in Software and Informatics Engineering from Salahuddin University, Erbil, which underpins her strong foundation in data analysis, information management, and research development. Previously, she has held roles in esteemed organizations, including NRC (Norwegian Refugee Consultant) as an Information Management Officer, the Prime Minister’s Office as an Onboarding Coordinator, and IOM-UN as a Database and Information Management Assistant. Additionally, she served as a lecturer at Gasha Institute.

Research

Arwaa’s research includes the development of a novel model, to predict changes in internally displaced populations (IDPs) in Iraq. Her work aims to enhance humanitarian aid delivery, optimize resource allocation, and address return barriers faced by IDPs, comparing the proposed model with other machine learning approaches
