Introduction
Dr Mohammed Ali Bapir joined the Department at the University of Kurdistan in 2017. Mohammed is the program director at the department of politics and international relations. He was mainly educated in the United Kingdom, received an MA in politics and a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. Mohammed’s general research interests are in democratic transitions and consolidation (the political elite, political institutions, and party systems in the middle east) as well as, Islamic political thought and western political thought.
