Bryar Ahmad Hassan, PhD

Introduction

Dr. Bryar A. Hassan is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) and is affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence and Innovations Centre (AIIC). He is actively involved in AI research, publishing papers, contributing to conferences, and supervising student projects, and is listed among Stanford University’s Top 2% of Scientists for 2023. With twenty years of experience in academia and industry, he aims to link academia with industry to meet local community needs. His curriculum development integrates subject-centered, problem-centered, and learner-centered approaches, aligning courses with the Bologna Process and ECTS. Dr. Hassan has secured multiple grants and held various administrative roles, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to advancing AI education and research.
