International Women's Day: Book reading

On Thursday, Mar 8, 2018 the 5th day of the IWD program ACE invited a female Kurdish author, Kner Abdullah, to talk about her book " I Love You, What About You?" She undertook a reading from the book itself and discussed the following;
- A brief description about the concepts of love and relationships between females and males.
- Clarified the questions as to why both genders, but particularly females, due to shyness or fear from others in the community appear unable to verbalize their thoughts or feelings in this culture
- Used as examplars stories of successful love relationships that included starting new lives.
She concluded with explaining the reasons behind of her writing the book.
