American Corner Erbil hosted an Intercultural New Year program on March 15th 2017 regarding the cultural aspects, social behavior, and traditions during Kurdish and American New Year’s celebrations. The presenters, Azhi Aza Haseeb and Andie Carroll, looked at the differences and similarities between the Kurdish New Year, Newroz, and the annual customs of American people during their New Year.
