International Youth Day

The seminar, held on International Youth Day, August 13th 2017, celebrated Kurdish regional youth, and was used as an impetus to effect change in society. Led by Kareem Dizaye, a high school senior and IYLEP alum, he interacted with participants in addressing such issues as breaking with cultural expectations of youth, exceeding academically, and breaking out of traditional gender roles.
