On Sunday, June 23, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, an awareness presentation regarding Blood Donation was delivered by Ms Amina Haji, a SUSI Aluma and student from Hewler Medical University. She gave an overview of blood donation, donors, and blood itself. She then focused on some significant aspects of the blood donation process such as; who can become a donor, why should you donate, and the risks, benefits, and side effects of blood donation. It was informative and encouraged participants to volunteer
