On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, the 5th session of DEAR Day Seminars was about Reading Short Stories. #DrOlgaBabenko gave an interactive and informative presentation on how to understand the functions behind the story "Vanka" by Anton Chekhov and the differences and similarities between the text and movie of the story. It was a lively discussion at the end regarding characters' function from the text, videos, and recent history can be compared based on economic, educational, and social aspects.
