International Day of Girl Child: Education for Girls in Conflict Societies

On Thursday October 11th 2018, Ms. Sazan Mandalawi held a session on International Day of Girl Child: Education for Girls in Conflict Societies. She started the session by illustrating the importance of girls’ education within any society explaining the constraints that may stand between a girl and her education. She suggested the most common methods to equip girls/young women with necessary skills such as peer education, workshops, etc. mentioning some of her personal experience with peer education targeting young girls.
