The U.S. Consulate General started off #Black_History_Month with a visit by Consulate Staff including Antonae Palmer and Samario Mason to the American Corner Erbil at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) to talk about the importance of this month, the struggles of #African_Americans in the United States, the civil rights movement, and the current status of coexistence and diversity in the United States. The session was very engaging and inspirational and offered a very meaningful cultural exchange for the consulate staff and the IKR students. The U.S. Consulate General #Erbil is proud to celebrate this special month!
