Public Affairs Officer Gina Cabrera visited the American Corner Erbil located within the library at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH). She and the university's librarian, Lesley Gaj, discussed the importance of #American Spaces to provide students with free access to information about U.S. culture, education, and society, and to connect people of other cultures and the #United_States. The American Corner engages in local and international volunteer efforts, periodic seminars on the environment and practical training, art and music, and English classes.
