In conjunction with World Cancer Day American Corner Erbil is collaborating with UKH School of Medical Science to spread awareness and fight against Cancer. We will hold exhibition and talk regarding this topic.
Dr. Mark McVay, Dean of Scientific Affairs and Associate Professor of Family Medicine, will give an overview about cancer, how it starts and spreads, followed by Dr. Dana M. Tofiq, Assistant Professor of Allergy and immunology, who talk about the most common cancers, as well as screening and prevention.
