World AIDS Day Awareness Program

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) affects millions of people worldwide. There are many misconceptions about HIV and AIDS. In conjunction with World AIDS day which falls on 1st December, American Corner Erbil is host an Awareness Program about the prevention, symptoms, treatment and how to deal with the stigma living with HIV/AIDS and the role of society in fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS. We have speakers lined up from Erbil Health Directorate and UKH School of Medical of Medical Science.
