Understanding the US Role in the Middle East from a Kurdish Perspective

On Monday, June 24, a presentation about 'Understanding the US Role in the ME from a Kurdish Perspective' was delivered by Dr Kym Fraser. He started with brief introduction on the chronological order of US involvement history in Middle East. Then he posed the first question - on why US is interested in the Middle East, to open the discussion with the Audience. Discussion then shifted to the relationship between US and the Kurds over the years and currently Finally, looking at the future of Kurdish–US relationships given the current internal and external challenges. The session was communicative and encouraging having different perspectives about the topic.
