On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, an interactive and informative presentation on “Potential Biogas Production from Food Waste” was delivered by Dr. Dara. He focused on Anaerobic Digestion (AD) to produce biogas from raw materials especially food waste. The AD application process, characteristics of biogas, the benefits of biogas production to enhance economic competitiveness and sustainable resources, and showed data analysis, and facts including Erbil Municipal Solid Waste commencement steps of the process, and how biogas can be produced.
