Ahmed Muhsen, a brilliant senior student from the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) Computer Engineering programme, has achieved remarkable success in the Abu Dhabi University Research Competition. He finished in the top 10 of the ranking list.
Ahmed’s pioneering project focused on designing and 3D printing a six-degree-of-freedom robot arm that emulates the natural motion of a human arm.
Ahmed also integrated vision capabilities using a pixy camera, enabling the robot arm to recognise shapes and movements.
Applying the knowledge he gained at UKH, Ahmed employed an AI-based algorithm, the Min-Max Algorithm, to play the timeless game of Tic-Tac-Toe against human opponents. Although he participated in the conference virtually, but Ahmed’s groundbreaking approach showcased the power of artificial intelligence in gaming and exemplified his skills and dedication to his expertise.
