On January 16, President of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), Bill Rammell met with Chinese Consul General, Ni Ruchi in Erbil. Rammell gave a background about UKH since its establishment and its mission, as well as its future priorities. Mr. Ni Ruchi explained China’s commitment to furthering its academic engagement and cooperation in the Kurdistan Region, including with UKH. In return, UKH President expressed interest in developing cooperation with Chinese universities on linguistic, cultural, and academic fronts as part of its aim to link UKH and its students more globally.
