Graduating with an LLB in Law from the University of Leeds, Vian Roshan gained experience over several years in various legal and government entities including the KRG Representation to the EU, before completing an MA in Healthcare Ethics & Law at the University of Manchester in 2007. Vian Roshan has over 5 years experience in the UK medical professional regulatory sector, investigating medico-legal and patient safety concerns. It was during this time Vian Roshan developed an interest in professional standards and the effect of quality management in improving organisational performance. She is a member of the UK Chartered Quality Institute and currently completing a Diploma in Quality Management- Level 5. In 2013 Vian Roshan moved to Erbil, Kurdistan as the Head of Quality at the Kurdistan Children's Hospital, a not-for-profit specialist hospital for women and children. In 2017, Vian Roshan joined the UKH supporting their quality assurance functions and service development.
