Gender based violence - Workshop

The American Corner in collaboration with UNHCR held a workshop on Gender Based Violence on April 23, 2018. The workshop started with a series of questions posted to the participants on their current understanding about GBV. The presenter, Stéphanie, then proceed with a brief introduction on UNHCR activities in Iraq and an introduction of the Directorate of Combating Violence against Women (DCVAW)’s mandate. This was followed by discussion on GBV prevention and post incident support.The workshop ended with a question and answer session.
